Android Security Pin Requirement Changed topic

Hi before yesterday my pin was 4 Digits long as that was the minimum requirement how ever since yesterday this has now changed to 6 digits minimum.

It happened out the blue as well just after unlocking the phone with the 4 Digit pin i was asked to change it and it stated a 6 digit pin was required.

So does anyone know how to get this back to 4 digits again?

Also have you had the same happen to you? Its a clean install of the Stock firmware as well of Android 4.4.4
