Yes I cowered and spent the on the moto 360 Silver Watch Band and I used all of the spare links. I didn't like the way it fit so I removed 2 of them, now it fits perfectly! Although, I noticed a couple of gouge marks (not from me! - I baby this thing) which I believe are somehow from where the clasps attach.
You're given 4 spare links to size your moto 360 to your liking, do any ANY of you who HAVEN'T USED THEM want to sell them?
I bought the silver watch band to match the casing - if anyone should feel generous enough to part with their SPARE, UNUSED SILVER WATCH BAND LINKS I'd be glad to purchase them from you unless we could work out some kind of deal somehow. I don't feel like spending for just 2 watch band links so I'm taking the chance in here. Laugh all you want!
And just a little suggestion for the cracking back issue, When I ordered the moto screen protectors I received 2 in the package - after perfectly centering the watch face SP I had an idea. I flipped over the watch and the SP is the exact same size as the watch face - naturally I applied the SP on the back perfectly too. Except for the tad bit of overhang the back cover is protected/hidden from contact against my skin.
It functions normally and provides all the necessary readings from the sensors. While dust and lint do collect on the exposed brim once the watch is on my wrist the SP basically molds itself to the back cover. The lint and dust are accumulated after I take the moto 360 off for the night which is to be expected. I was going trim it using a protractor but I wanted the back cover to be completely free of contact. I had read the heat, sweat, and natural oils of the human skin that would eventually cause the back cover to weaken due to natural wear and tear. By having a layer of protection between the watch and skin surface would be the only way to have full functionality of the sensors while prolonging the life of the back cover at the same time!
So far mission accomplished, ever morning I check for heat stress cracks or any other sign of stress to the back cover and I'm happy to say so far so good. I did wait until I had the silver metal watch band to wear the moto 360 everyday but always had the screen protector on both surfaces whenever I wore it including with the leather band too!
Could somebody be kind enough to sell any extra/spare 23mm silver watch links please. If you haven't used any of the spare links and they're still sealed since you received it I'm willing to pay up to for the 4 protective wrapped links.
I have a good reputation and am willing to work with anyone so please consider helping me out, I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
