Does X Tether work on Note 3 when I update to 4.4.3/4 topic

I wanted to flash a custom ROM on my Note 3 but I don't want to loose my tethering that works flawlessly so far. I am currently running stock 4.4.2. If I go to 4.4.3 or 4 will I be able to get tethering on my AT&T Note3?
