[Q] Back and forth from Nexus 6 to G2(Verizon) topic

I have never switched back and forth between phones on Verizon, however if I take my micro sim from the Nexus 6 and put it in my G2 with an adapter, will the G2 activate? If it does activate, will that cause problems when I switch it back to the Nexus 6? The reason I ask is I don't want a situation where the Nexus 6 won't reactivate. Thanks for any advice on this.
