[Q] Looking for a phone for a hard of hearing luddite. topic

Hi

My 90 yo mother needs a new phone. The 8 year old Samsung is giving up. She needs one that is really LOUD. She refuses to wear a hearing aid or headset. I also it needs be on Verizon. She is on my plan and I get an very good rate on a corporate unlimited plan. The Jitterbug would be perfect except it is locked into "Great Calls" and apparently can't be unlocked to be activated on Verizon.
It needs to be simple. A smart phone would be an over kill but is a possiblity.

Any recommendations?
