i think this should be somewhere else, but i don't really know..
anyway, my question is: how do you install a script manually?
so, you have a script that you would flash in a recovery like cwm, but you want to do it yourself.
it seems logical to me that whatever is in the system should be in the map it says(i.e: *.zip/system/etc/init.d means the files should go into init.d)
but what about the things that are in the META-INF?
any help would be greatly appriciated.
PS: i'm asking because cwm says it installs a script, but nothing actually happens.(the script works and so does the sd card)
