Hi to all,
I've a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 (SM-T310) with a very strange audio problem.
When I switch on or restart my tablet the audio doesn't work also if all the volume settings are at the maximum and the sound is enabled (no mute).
The audio hw of my tablet is not definitely dead because, in the last 6/7 days it worked again 3 times for some minutes:
-) after the installation of an app (Clean Master)
-) after a reboot of the tablet
-) after I connected the device to my PC by an USB cable
In all of these 3 cases all the apps that used audio/music (like the Youtube app) ran slowly.
In all of these 3 cases, however, the audio stopped working again after a reboot of the tablet or after that I muted and re-enabled the sound.
In the last hours I tried to debug this issue with adb and into the logs (adb logcat), when the audio doesn't work, I found this error:
E/AudioHardwareTinyALSA( 1798): Failed to pcm_write(0x4297e7e0, 0x43071008, 4096) = -1 : cannot write stream data: I/O error
I also discovered that "Mediaserver" process use 17% of my battery... it's the second one after the screen.
On Internet I haven't found anything about it. :crying:
Is there here someone that know what's happening to my tablet?
Is it a hw problem?
I've already tried to reset to factory default but the problem is still here.
Some ideas?
Do you need other info or logs?
Thanks! :o
