Dear Developers..
my phone is unrooted, running on the official built in ROM and has never been experimented with.
Last night the phone was on low battery and went off. Today morning i plugged it in to charge and the charging never happened nor is the phone coming on. I tried charging the battery on an external portable charger for an hour and tried again but still no use.
The phone seems dead. Tried all ways to make it start, removing the battery and pressing the power button in case any stored power (like in laptops), tried power, home and volume up/down button, kept the battery out for over 2 hours and tried again, yet nothing.
Please advise how to go ahead. The phone already has a problem of running on Factory mode since the last two weeks, a screen pops up and remains on the desktop with all technical details of the phone and the lock features dont work ever since. data, wifi and other apps on the fone work properly. Tried to find a way to fix that but found posts requesting to root the fone to get this fixed. so havent fixed that yet.
Please help!
p.s. im not an engineer so please try to explain in simple english, however am able to work around to fix this on my own.. a little technically sound.
