[Q] samsung s3 4.1.2 sidesync does not work with notepro 12.2 wiifi 4.4.2 topic

does anyone know why i cannot get sidesync or screen sharing working on my 2 devices?

i have a notepro 12.2 wifi with the latest 4.4.2 version and a samsung s3 with the latest 4.1.2 build available (dont like 4.3)

notepro comes with sidesync 3.0 installed buy s3 cannot get that version as it is for kitkat and above only. i tried syncing it does not recgonise or find anything when i press start. i downloaded the latest sidesync and phone screen sharing from samsung apps on my s3 so i assume version 2 then sent it to my tablet so both devices have same version of sidesync. i connected both devices by wifi direct yet they do not show up on each others sidesync list. any one know why???

i switched off any vpns etc i just cant understand why neither are showing up on each others list they are both on same wifi network same sidesync version yet nothing
