Titanium backup/restore problems. topic

I use Titanium backup to keep my M8 backed up safely. I also do a 'update zip' every now and again and keep it on my laptop.

The problem I get is it will randomly come up with 'Titanium backup is restoring your data' it then asks me to reboot and when I have it has restored old data and deleted some apps and all my login details to Facebook etc! How do I stop it from over writing my perfectly setup phone with old data?
