Question/help about editing Build.prop topic

I have sprint h/k M8 , Bootloader Unlocked, S-On, Rooted stock software

i've tried everything to change build.prop from system , but after reboot it still same .. tried root explorer, es explorer , build.prop editor , ect... with mounted system as r/w ...

Do i need S-off for that or what i'm missing?


Only way i can do that , to edit build.prop with text editor in pc and then push it with adb from pc and phone in recovery . (also renaming original prop file as .bak)
