[Q] Downgrade from Lollipop > KitKat before selling phone topic

I had lollipop (resurrection remix rom) installed and now want to get the phone back to stock so i can sell it (booooo)

i flashed a sony ftf from here and now it's back to kitkat

i don't if i'm now supposed to flash the TA backup file and / or relock

i tried running Backup TA but it gets stuck on waiting for USB debugging
already enabled usb debugging on phone, held vol up and plugged it in to PC and got a blue light

Selling Advice topic

Hi, I have a couple of phones, 1 used and 1 unused, that I want to sell. I am not much of an expert on flashing ROM's and rooting and all of that, but I managed to unlock the used one using the stickied method. There are occasional temporary freeze-ups, but I am not sure if it's related to the unlock method. The carrier screen still shows up when powering on, but I heard that can be eliminated by rooting. Other than that it works fine.

At first, I didn't think this unlock method was permanent for some reason, but it looks like it is. I am looking for advice on the best state to keep my phone for selling to get the most. Should I flash the used one back to stock and then unlock both phones using unlock codes? Or should I unlock the new one using the free method and then root both phones?

I've seen recently that this tab is still selling in a lot of places, either online or in stores. And the price tag is on average above 0. It's almost 3 years old, which is not very common for an electronic's life cycle. Why?

I'm selling my G3 and therefor need to bring it back to completely stock again, meaning no custom rom, root and custom recovery anymore.
I searched the forums and found these two solutions:

Flashing the G3 back to Stock using LG PC Suite and LG Flash Tool 2014.

Would you recommend one solution over the other one?

Selling phone on Verizon Edge topic

I purchased a phone on the edge program for Verizon. It's not fully paid off so I am wondering if I can sell the phone say on Swappa or Ebay. I know I'd still be obligated to continue making the payments, but does Verizon tie the ESN to my account until it is paid off so that it can't be activated on another account? Do they care? It's currently sitting in a drawer with no SIM in it and an ESN check says it's clean and ready to activate.

I'd just hate to sell it only to find out the purchaser can't activate it.
