Google CFO Admits Nexus 6 ... topic

On a conference call late Thursday, Chief Financial Officer Patrick Pichette said supply problems with the company's new Nexus 6 smartphone dented Google's revenue. The Nexus 6 went on sale in November to good reviews. But Pichette said Google had "real issues" and could not get enough phones to meet demand. In early December, Nexus 6 supplies were running out online within hours, according to Android news website Android Authority.

Google has had supply problems with Nexus phones in the past, in part because of how and why it makes the gadgets..
