[Q] Update to 4.2 without rooting topic

Hi guys,

I have been trying to figure out a way to update my os without rooting and I found this:
1. Go to Settings -> Apps -> All
2. Find Google Services Framework.
3. Tap on Force Stop.
4. Select Clear Data.
5. Head back to the Nexus 10′s Settings, go to About, and check for a System Update.

It is working for these Nexus folks somewhat..

But I wanted to know how to recover if I had to, to the previous version. Then I read that downgrading can brick your phone if you have a Samsung 3.

I wish I could just get a Nexus phone with my requirements. But I am willing to suffer a little more with this 3g phone if I can get 4.2 installed on the phone so I can use miracast. I don't want to give up the keyboard, a removable battery, expandable memory and the size..

I would like to avoid bricking the phone and I am a noob. I just want to go from 4.1 to 4.2, thats it.

Any help with the non root procedure would help. Also I don't know where the system requirements are for these different versions but I assume the relay can handle 4.2.

This is an unlocked tmobile phone that I am using on att.

thank you guys so much.
