hey guys, in serious need of assistance here.
I got a screen/fascia from ebay for my XT926, its like the whole assembly.
After replacement, the screen doesn't turn on, the phone physically works.
I plugged the phone into my TV using the hdmi cable and its on and running and the digitizer responds, i can use the phone. but the screen does not come on.
I've reinstalled the oem screen, and nothing, the reason for replacement was the glass is trashed but it worked.
****full disclosure=My roommate did the actual swap, while i was at work. I was gonna do it but he decided to try it himself. He had trouble with the little black tab that holds the ribbon cable in popped out, and he couldn't get it back in. I got it in when i got home, and locked down. he said he tried turning it on with out that tab in, and had the same result as i did, the led flashed, and it sounded like it turned on, he said. EITHERWAY, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks. - ALEX:good:
