[Q] WeChat doesn't recognize existing message directory anymore / How to restore? topic

Hello,

my WeChat App logged out by itself. After logging in again - all my messages, videos, voice messages, pictures, icons were gone. Like a fresh installation of WeChat.

I checked the WeChat root folder ( \tencent\MicroMsg\b7f0d977..... \*.* ) and all data is still stored there. WeChat simply doesn't recognize the stored data anymore. How can I force WeChat to recognize my files again? I didn't update the APP / Phone or anything, which could have caused this issue.

I have a ASUS PadFone 2 with 64GB (integrated) - no SD Card
