Why no kernels & ROMs ? topic

Hey there, comming from the Nexus 4 I would rather get the Moto X 2014 instead of the Nexus 6 (altough I will miss franco.kernel) but I see nearly no support for new kernel or ROMs ?

Why ?
Will there be more in near future? E.g. ParanoidAndroid ?
