Recently upgraded to a refurb S4. When I saw there was a GPE Lollipop ROM, I jumped all over it. Course that also means I am stuck with a Gear S that can't connect to my phone. Tried to follow the steps to connect it from the Non-Samsung phone thread and I was happy to see it started to work until HostManager FCed on me every time. Right now, I've kept my Galaxy Avant around to update apps and such when needed but this watch is begging for standalone functionality. Wish there was Pushbullet or something for it rather than rely on Samsung's apps. Anyone wondering why there are no simple email clients or calendaring apps yet?
