[Q] GT-P3100 tablet keeps restarting after a few minutes topic

Hi,

my GT-P3100 tablet keeps restarting after a few minutes.

So I tried to uninstall lastly installed app, but the device restarted every time I tried to do something with it - even a factory reset or opening the play store app. I also couldn't perform a factory reset form the recovery - it seemed like it was done ("Data wipe complete"), but it changed nothing. The next step I made was to flash a new firmware through Odin (3.09). The original firmware was 4.1.0, I flashed 4.2.2 - the whole process seemed to be OK, but an error occurred when the SYSTEM part was being flashed. I tried it 2 more times with the same result. Then I tried to root it with CF-Auto-root through Odin. The process was made successfully (as Odin wrote). The next step was to flash the CWM recovery (with hope that I will be able to perform a working factory reset). This was successful again, but the recovery didn't change.

AFTER ALL THIS STEPS I HAVE THE SAME LOOKING SYSTEM - with all apps, same restart problem,... It seems like it is protected against writing/deleting of anything.

I would be really thankful, if anybody gives me an advice what to do...
Thank you very much.[/QUOTE]

[Q] Soft bricked tab (GT-P3100) topic

Hello guys I've run into a weird problem.
I installed SlimLP alpha builds, everything was fine. One day, after trying to format /system etc. before flashing latest version, the tab started rebooting itself every 20 seconds. I tried to uninstall some apps, when I rebooted the tab the apps were back. I booted back into CWM recovery and when I tried to flash old version of this rom, it just stuck at the start. Moreover, when I try to exit recovery it always says "Root access probably lost. Fix?" But that does nothing.
I went into Odin and tried flashing two different stock roms, but it gave error "Complete(Write) operation failed" at system.img .It displayed my model number as "i9505" I then tried to flash through old Odin(v1.75) and it worked. But when I rebooted, it went back into SlimLP. I tried flashing TWRP and latest cwm version but it went back to previous version. The "download count" and Download Mode remained constant. I tried formatting /system and /data through cwm. There was no error but tab still boots straight into SlimLP.
I then tried my luck with ADB in cwm by trying to change file permission. With "chmod 755 /system" it gave the error "Read-only file system" With "mount" , it gave error "Operation not permitted". I booted into slimlp, quickly enabled root for "apps and ADB" through developer options and tried the commands but same error.
I also tried "NAND wipe all" in Odin, but it stuck at "Erase...." and then gave error after sometime.
Is there a way to completely wipe the OS now so I can flash stock one through Odin?

[Q] Samsung Galaxt Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3100 bootloop issue topic

Hi,

I have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (GT-P3100) that has it in a constant boot loop. PLEASE NOTE: I have gone through and tried all the different fixes here and from youtube and nothing seems to work.
TRIED:
- I have tried a hard reset & have wiped cache- to no avail.
- I am not able to uninstall NoRoot firewall or the AVG anti-virus or any application. I suspect that it has something to do with the NoRoot firewall, but even if I uninstall it in the few minutes between boot loops, when it reboots this as well as all the other apps I uninstalled and their cache are intact!
- I have tried changing the developer option to "USB debugging" and "use mock locations", however the moment it reboots or I am in download or recovery mode the setting is back to normal.
- I have flashed different recoveries using Odin but to no avail.
The recovery packages I have used:
1) P3100_CWM_RECOVERY-6.0.1.3_SUPERSU-0.96_BUSYBOX-1.20.2.tar.md5
2) philz_touch_6.57.8-p3100.tar.md5
3) CF-Auto-Root-espressorf-espressorfxx-gtp3100
4) kyleopen-cwm5-v3.tar.md5

Another thing that might be of help is that if I try to install a recovery from external storage, I get the error "E:signature not verified".

Seriously frustrated now! Could someone please help me sort this out?
Thanks a lot!
