[5.0.2 SOAK TEST] Lollipop taste for Moto E is Seeding to Users topic
Finally Moto E users get the Android L, its not the official release but its a Soak test from Motorola which was being sent to users from early-morning today, Moto E fan's were updating their status on the Moto E groups for the email they got for getting the Soak Test, if the Soak test is announced it will not take much more then a week or two to get a stable release to the rest of the users, and it maybe by February End that each and every one may get the Lollipop taste. On one side Moto E users are happy, while the Moto X users the 1st Gen users are being anoyed of not getting the update to Android L, Moto X was last to last year's Flagship, of 2013.
Moto E is also getting the Soak Test which means that the Update is on the way, and will be reaching by Feb End as Soak Test is not a beta it's somewhat higher then Beta.
Motorola Also conformed the same by a FB post's from "Motorola India Fans" Page.

[Q] upgrade/downgrade from 5.0.1 soak and 4.4.4 optimied to 5.0.2 Retail? topic
Hi,
I have two Moto G 2013 XT1033 Dual Sim and for both of them - i dont care about losing data and reinstalling - I want to get to a 100% STOCK 5.0.2 state. Dont need root or customer boot.
No 1) Upgraded to 5.0.1 Soak Test Brazil - 220.21.25.falcon_umtsds.Brasil.en.BR, no root, stock bootloader
No 2) Optimized, not stock, 4.4.4, with bloatware reduced etc. dont remember which ROM - also Retail, bootloader unlocked, root
What is the best approach to get both of them to stock 5.0.2, no-root, locked bootloader, is there just a binary stock file that I can flash?
Should I downgrade both to 4.4.4 Stock and then upgrade via OTA?
I know for (1) there exists an incremental update, how safe is this?
For (2) the OTA arrived, but as its an optimized ROM the update does not work.
I know all the information is somewhere here, I just was confused what path is safe and if its not possible to simply flash some binary recovery (ideally already to 5.0.2)

New Soak Test topic
Has anyone here gotten this soak test e-mail? I am signed up for the Motorola Feedback Network but I have not received a soak test invite yet myself.
