[Q] [Desire keys not working, bad flash a rom] topic

Hi, i have a problem. I flashed a custom rom (CM 11). After installation, the phone constantly rebooted, so I wanted to install another rom. And here is a problem. Volume keys on my desire not working. And if I want to connect my phone to my computer and displays " Device Not Recognized " . I tried to install all drivers ( HTC DRIVERS , ADB) and still nothing . Please, can you help me ? Is there any possibility to get rom in the phone?

Flashed new rom, Radios stopped working. topic

I have an xt926 that is fully unlocked with the KitKat bootloader. I decided to reflash the phone as it was running really slow and buggy. The problem I am running into is that no matter which Rom I use the radios don't work, no wifi, no cdma/lte, no bluetooth, nothing.

So far I have tried:

They all install fine, just no wireless.

On a sidenote, any recomendations for a super stable rom? no flashy features, I just need something that is responsive and reliable. Most roms I see seem to still have one issue or another.

Just recently my google maps is working. The minute I tap on it, it turns off. Could this be from a google maps update? Can someone help me with this please? I tried rebooting it but it still hasn't worked.

Xbox controller not working topic

Hey guys, I've got a rooted Galaxy S3 (moderator, please don't move this to S3 forum) and my Xbox controller doesnt work. It gets detected in USB/BT Joycenter but it won't work in games and anywhere except in USB/BT Joycenter. I flashed tens of kernels but it still ldoesnt work.
It does work on the other non-rooted phones I have (HTC Desire, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 etc.) and I tried different ROMs as well

[Q] Phone working, but showing nothing on screen topic

Hello there.

I have a brand new XT 1068 (two month of use). It is as received from the shop (no root or anything).

Was using normally, and suddenly began to fail. First, it didn't responded when trying to use pattern unblocking. Then the screen turned black. Tried to reset pressing the power button for 10 seconds, but the screen just lights a bit (backlit?), buzzes and nothing else.

The phone can received calls, messages, and even be controlled remotely trough Google's Android Device Manager. Touch screem seems to work, as i can answer calls by sliding center to right.

Don't know what to do. Tried the "120 seconds pressing the power button", with no success. Maybe I should try "Erase" though Google's Android Device Manager?

Hi, My system UI keeps failing on my HTC One M8, I have no status bar or home button, back button etc appear on my phone!

Version main: 4.16.401.10 and CID Num is: HTC__001

I have done a factory reset, cleared the delvic cache, data cache.

I get two error message when android boots up, HTC Dot View has stopped and another error message, System UI has stopped.

Can anyone help me? Thank you

Hulu Plus not working on Nexus 6 topic

I upgraded from my nexus 5 recently and put hulu + back on this device like I've done for years now. Whenever I try to play a video with the service, it plays the opening ad(s), gets to the point where the video I requested should play and nothing happens. Looking carefully, the 10 second rewind button just flashes on and off but the video never plays. I've done Google searches all morning and all I found is a Facebook page showing that this is a known bug but no one has offered a fix. I've uninstalled, cleared data, used the older version from Dec but no dice. I already emailed Hulu like 3 days ago and no response. I'm running stock but decryption is off. Any ideas?

Xbox Controller not Working topic

Hey guys, I bought an OTG adapter and an Xbox Controller (wired). The OTG cable works fine and the Xbox controller also works fine on PC but when I plug it in my phone it just starts flashing and it doesn't do anything else. My phone is Samsung Galaxy S3 running KitKat 4.4.2

OTA Update not Working topic

I can't seem to get the OTA update to work. I am currently on NCE 4.2.2. I have been having lots of signal problems and finally decided to update, but it will not update. I have tried a normal factory reset, SD card update (stock recovery), flashed stock TAR files via Odin, and have tried the regular OTA countless times. This is ridiculous: it should update. There is no reason for it to fail: it is completely stock. Root has been wiped out (confirmed with a root checker). I miss my N5 :(.

Any other ideas? Sorry if I posted in the wrong section. Move me around as needed. Thanks!

[Q] Wifi not working when flashing custom kernel on CM12 topic

Whenever I flash a custom kernel (So far I've tried Donkey Kang and XPerience) on my moto g (xt1032), the wifi doesn't turn on. Its stuck on the "Turning Wifi On" screen in settings. Mobile Data works though. Right now I'm running Euphoria ROM(Which is based off of CM12) with its stock kernel. I'm just wondering if this is a CM 12 limitation, as it didn't work for any other cm12 based ROMs I flashed, including the original nightly from the cyanogenmod website. Thanks in advance!

so for the past month ever since i went from stock to a custom rom my Google backup has not been backing up my phone. and since i got to do clean flash several times it is really annoying to be setting up my phone to my liking. is there a way in fixing this issue. i always had backup and restore turned on in the settings.:crying:

Finger input is off, S-pen is working as it should topic

Hi,

Ever since the latest update (today, as i own the phone since today) the finger input is off. The left upper corner is 1:1. But the more you go to the right lower corner, the input that is registered, is off.

It is like there is some kind of acceleration going on. Because of this, typing, pressing icons and even swiping isn't possible in a normal manner. Again, with the S-pen everything is working properly.

I've tried changing the screen density and the resolution (after rooting), but without succes.

Is there a way to re-allign the input, or something??

Any help is appriciated!!

Is anyone else having problems with media link since the lollipop update?

Mine wont go into landscape mode, it stays portrait. Also it is acting like a screen mirror, ie I cant stream a file then do other stuff on my phone for example check, texts, emails.

Hello guys. I have Sensation 4g that is rooted and have custom recovery on it too but S-On.. Currently running vipers 1.3.5 + sense 4.1. But i am not happy with it..It keeps randomly crashing every day...So anyone out there running a good working rom that is compatible with Sensation 4g S-on. Thank you in advance.
