[Q] OTG not showing up in File Manager topic

Hi, I am running cm12 for moto g. I am using the latest nightly of cm12. My problem is that whene I insert my OTG, it doesn't show up in any file manager. It only shows up in file manager only after rebooting my phone. After removing the OTG and then inserting it again it doesn't show up in any file manager until I reboot it again which is really annoying. Also there is no mount and unmount option under storage section in settings. Please help

Hello there.

I have a brand new XT 1068 (two month of use). It is as received from the shop (no root or anything).

Was using normally, and suddenly began to fail. First, it didn't responded when trying to use pattern unblocking. Then the screen turned black. Tried to reset pressing the power button for 10 seconds, but the screen just lights a bit (backlit?), buzzes and nothing else.

The phone can received calls, messages, and even be controlled remotely trough Google's Android Device Manager. Touch screem seems to work, as i can answer calls by sliding center to right.

Don't know what to do. Tried the "120 seconds pressing the power button", with no success. Maybe I should try "Erase" though Google's Android Device Manager?

[Q] runtime option not showing up in developer options topic

Running latest lolipop 5.0 on my lg g3 and trying to switch from dalvik to art runtime however for some reason this option is not showing up on my device. Any advice on why I can't see it or how to get it to 'appear' lol would be much appreciated from a new owner.

It shows my battery capacity is 1390mah while Phone spec shows 2000mah in box
Which one is true!

I can't seem to find the option to set owner information in lockscreen since updating to Lollipop. It used to be in Settings --> My Device --> Lock Screen --> Owner Information in Kitkat. Is the feature gone or it's somewhere else?

Wrong DAY showing on watch face? topic

So funny thing, my watch knows what the DATE (numerical number) it is, but it is 1 DAY fast. Meaning, it knows today is 2/2, but it thinks today is Tuesday, not Monday.... any ideas on how to fix this?

sn - n9005, 4g symbol is not showing on the device even though i have a 4g sim.
the service providers said it works on 1800 or something .
is that the problem.
even in the setting i dont see the 4g lte option.

[Q] Can ANYBODY help me!?! No ROM showing installed.... topic

I have tried a few newer RUU's since I'm on 3.16 bootloader and S-ON. When I go to flash using the RUU utility, it doesn't show any installed rom...because there IS no installed ROM!
Therefore, it fails. As you can see below...there is nothing showing in version-main. Any idea on how to fix this??? The phone isn't bricked...there's just no rom installed. Should I use TWRP instead??? What RUU should I be using???? (A friend came over trying to return this back to stock, after a bad Venom rom flash)

video files not showing topic

When I plug in my phone to my comp. 64 i5 Toshiba. All folders show up but when I open downloads the movies folders are empty. Many in different formats nothing unusual. Then I open downloads on phone and they play nice.. help would be appreciated. Thnx

Odd issue showing up on TWRP during wipe topic

Ok, so my kindle's been acting up a looooot, so I tried doing a wipe. First of all when I reboot into recovery when it shows the blue kindle fire logo about 1/3 of the screen has an odd combination of red and white pixels, but then twrp's logo shows up and all's good. Then I went to wipe, I wiped at first cache and dalvik cache, now I did another wipe and wiped system as well. In both cases the first line it showed was "E: TWFunch: : Remove_MTP_Storage unable to locate partition for 0". What does this mean? Either way the wipes continued normally and were successful. Is this something I should worry about?

Also, perhaps I should mention I overclocked my kindle a few days back (on Saturday or Sunday if I remember correctly). I set the processor's max to 1500 for a few hours only (5-7 hours, no more), it ran great but then it seemed to act a little strange and right when I was about to set it back to 1200 it rebooted and was back to 1200 on its own. I'm running the Beanstalk 5.

[Q] Gearfit notification always showing on 5.0 topic

This may have been covered but I cannot find it....

I have just upgraded my s5 to 5.0 and enabled lockscreen notifications, but I cannot seem to get rid of the gear fit notification.

Does anyone have a work around for this ?
I have even tried to force notifications OFF but it is greyed out


This is really annoying me!!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Google chrome bookmark widget no showing site pics topic

Ok i tryed everything. Im using the 3x2 chrome bookmark widget but the only problem is i can do about 10 bookmarks on the widget and it shows up in the widget with the name on the bottom and some black design where the site pic would ( like the pic of what site it is).
I searched all over for a fix i tryed a couple but nothing seems to work. I uninstalled chrome wiped cache and data. I went into to setting and wiped all the browser data. I have no clue what it is but its really annoying because its ugly as sin. Please please please any help or if anybody has seen please let me know.
