[Q] Sense 6 Home Animation topic

Hello,

Does anyone know how to add some animation to the home/back buttons in Sense 6 based roms? There is an older thread on this topic, but no conclusions were ever drawn: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2766562

It seems like there should just be some xml file that needs editing, but I can't seem to find info anywhere. Does anyone have any leads?

[QUIDE] Theme your home screen to look like Galaxy S3 topic

This guide shows you how to theme your home screen to look like the stock home screen of the Samsung Galaxy S3
This requires NO ROOT, is smooth as butter and it looks more like the stock Galaxy S3 home screen than any other launchers I have seen :)

This guide is done by me, I made this by testing different options and seeing what looks the best

Picture of the finished home screen:

Guide:

Step 1: Download and install Go Launcher EX
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...uncherex&hl=en

Step 2: Download and install the Galaxy S3 Go Launcher Theme, this gives you S3 icons in the Go Launcher. After installing, open it and click "OK" and the theme changes
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...rd.galaxytheme

Step 3: Download and install the Galaxy S3 weather/clock widget, if you fail to add a location, uninstall this app, enter recovery, wipe cache and reinstall the apk
http://www.mediafire.com/download/s9.../YAWeather.apk

Step 4: Download and install the Custom ICS Search Widget:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...cssearchwidget

Now that you have everything needed downloaded and installed, it's time to customize

Step 1: Rearrange your icons in the Go Launcher so they look like in the picture, move the app drawer to the right side of the dock and remove browser from the dock

Step 2: Long press in the Go Launcher, click "Effect" and select "Glass"

Step 3: Enter the app drawer, click the 3 dots, select Settings, select Transition and change Horizontal transition to "Smooth"

Step 4: Set your desktop wallpaper to this:
https://cdn-images.xda-developers.co...llpaper_02.jpg

Step 5: Long press in the desktop, tap "Preferences" and tap "Screens". Now select "Grid size" and change it to "Tight (5*4)" and turn on "Resizes widgets and icons"

Step 6: Long press in the home page, select "Add", select "Widget" and choose "YA Weather(4x2)". Long press the widget, select Resize and resize it 1 step bigger so it fills in about half of the editable area like in the picture

Step 7: Now add a widget "Custom ICS Search", when you're in the edit screen make sure that all of them are white except the shadow color and that the shadow is on, after this press "OK" and it will add the widget. Make sure that it's below the S3 weather/clock like in the picture

You are finished! You can do customizing if you want, this guide is to a stock look
If you have any questions, leave them as a reply and I will try to answer them :)

[Q] Cell phone 2 home service, does such a thing exist? topic

Micro USB to RJ11
I am looking for an app/adapter that would allow you to power your wired home phone system using your cell phone. Ideally, I'd like to be able to use a cable, like the one shown, to simply plug my cell phone into one of the home phone jacks to provide service to the wired phones etc. I'm hoping to find a carrier neutral solution. Do you know of anything like this?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Home offscreen button during typing topic

Is anybody else having this issue? I am coming from Galaxy S4, where the home button is actual physical button, so there I didn't have any issues, but with OPO, when typing, many times when I try to hit spacebar, it hits the top of the Home button. Before it comes up, I do not want to use on screen buttons, I like the size of the screen and don't want it up with software buttons.

I was wondering if anyone has/could write a script to set the buttons to

(Menu)
Short press - Menu
Long Press - Recent Aps

(Home)
Short press - Nothing
Long Press - Home

(Back)
Short Press - back
Long Press - nothing

Or of there is an app that would give me a bit more control over the buttons... or something that can help with this. This is absolutely the only issue I have with the OPO otherwise I love the phone.
