Background :Rooted phone and installed Cyanogen rom, then installed PackMan rom then HTC Google Edition rom. Everything was working perfect for a year.
The phone was always in protective silicon case and didn't give me any problems.
Problem :Without installing any new application or change any settings or anything other then normal daily use. One day, out of the blue (didnt fell or anything), the screen wouldn’t turn on, but the screen touch buttons at bottom would lite up.
Did hard reset but then it kept getting stuck or screen again and again, the screen wouldn’t turn on, kept doing more and more and more hard resets. Sometimes after hard reset it would get to the “slide to unlock” screen and once i would unlock it would get stuck, so more hard resets.
Then after the 10th ~ hard reset it seemed to rollback on its own to the factory rom without my apps and contacts. But still get stuck and more hard resets. After the 13th ~ hard reset it got stuck on the green HTC logo with white background.
TWRP shows E: Unable to mount '/cache'
E: Unable to mount '/data'
E: Unable to mount '/system'
E: Unable to mount '/cache'
E: Unable to mount internal storage
and Internal Storage 0MB
Current status:Booting directly to hboot menu and nothing else.
Fastboot is working
ADB and ADB Shell is working
Booting into TWRP command : fastboot boot openrecovery-twrp-2.8.3.0-m7.img
Booting into philz command : fastboot boot philz_touch_6.15.4-m7ul.img
I’m not able to get to the RUU mode (black screen with silver HTC logo) !
flashing recovery twrp and then selecting recovery at the hboot menu will not get into twrp. only
fastboot boot openrecovery-twrp-2.8.3.0-m7.img
will get me into twrp
