[Q] Need some advice to go back to 4.3 topic

Hi all...

I bought an One Max O2 branded and updated to 4.4...with the f**** GPS Problem.

Now i tried some Custom Roms... with some Roms i got fast fix but horribel accuracy with others it takes long time to fix with a better accuracy. So i think ist definetly no Hardware-Problem.

I think the only way to get a good working GPS is rollback to 4.3.

Im unlocked, S-Off and on hboot 2.49...

Anyone can tell me what to do to completely roll back to Stock 4.3?

So this one isn't working when I flash it with TWRP ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/desi...stock-t2961521 ). I wasn't successful looking for one so I was hoping I could find some help here. After I flash back to stock I want to flash this kernel ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/desi...ernel-t2969979 ).
Correct me if I'm wrong but I feel as though this combination is better than just having CM11. Less hardware issues is a huge plus for me.

Hello I am new to custom roms and other stuff I just flashed a resurrection remix on my xperia z1 everything seems to work fine Except I got a new Cyangeon Recovery and there is no option for backup I tried entering into flash mode but my phone doesn't connect and it doesn't even connects to the PC itself I need Help PLzz

I have safe strap on my phone and followed the procedure to install alliance on my phone and it will not allow me to install on the stock rom setting and also will not allow me to put my back up on the stock rom setting as well.
I am worried that if something happens with my phone I will not be able to use it. Does anybody have a step by step that can help me at least get my backup rom back in the stock location or am i screwed?

Hello, I have rooted (s-on) my Htc one m8 Harmon/Kardon edition. I have seen a lot of threads and guides showing how to do this but none of them seem to apply to my specific cid, which is SPCS_004. I haven't been able to find any compatible nandroid backups. I think maybe im just in over my head and I don't want to mess anything up....can anyone point me in the right direction?

Need help building topic

So I've asked in other places but nor response. I'm trying to build lollipop dream and this is the error I get. "build/core/product_config.mk:222: *** can not locate config makefile for product " cm_bacon". Stop. Don't have product spec for cm_bacon" I tried to create a full_bacon.mk based of the one that the team provided for their github, but its as if the computer doesn't recognize it. I'm still getting the same error code even if I rename the full_bacon.mk to cm_bacon.mk. any help?

i've read on several thread i've check several things
- Serial not null
- Imei not null
- baseband recognised as DNK3

i've done flash back to stock rom now and result
- Serial not null
- Imei not null
- baseband back to original stock my region DNG1

but it's still error :(

Xperia Z C6603 doesn't boot properly, need help topic

Hi folks, i have a Xperia Z C6603 with unlocked Bootloader. I installed the latest 4.4.4 Stock Rom (.292) via Flashtool. The only thing it shows after it boots up, is the black screen with the back button (take a look at the pic) and it reboots after a couple of seconds. I've also flashed a 4.1.2 Stock Rom (.253) it boots up normally, but there is no WiFi or cellular connection. It also shows me IMEI unknown :( I've also tried the Emma program, with the same black screen and instantly reboot :( Anyone knows what i can do ?

So I've looked at a bunch of how to videos, and guides, I've tried Towelroot, and GhettoRoot. I've spent hours attempting to root this PoS. I'm at my wit's end to be completely honest. So I decided to come here hoping to get some help. What do I need to do to root this unholy God forsaken device? I'm running OS 4.4.2, on Verizon. It's the i605 model. Can anyone help before I lose what little sanity I have left?

Hello all, recently got a g2 at&t d800, now want to change the back housing to golden or red color, saw some of them on ebay, but they don't have the hole for the extra microphone for D800, is that third microphone really important? Is there any use of it?, I am currently using cloudy g2
Also on many cases there is the same issue, they don't have hole for the extra mic on d800.
Any help would be really appreciated

[Q] Need help -- Should I Root or OTA update first? topic

I have a Galaxy S4 sgh-i1337M with Fido in CAanda. I would like to Root and enjoy my phone as it should be.
Before doing anything, I checked for software update on the phone in settings, and there is one that is 100.01 MB. Looking up that size, I think it has something to do with this number (my modem version??):
I337MUMUFNK1 -- which comes up when I search google for an update of that size which is OTA and for my phone.
Samsung and Fido and Google say to call the 'others' as they do not know what this update is for. WTF! Nobody knows what the update is for??

The baseband seems to be what the update will modify??? (ignore this if its dumb)

MY QUESTION:
Should I root the way it is now and disregard the latest update?
Should I update the phone now, as I won't be able to receive OTA updates in the future and then Root? (I know I can always do whatever I want after rooting.....
it would still make sense to do this update now, then root as its just easier that way).

Guys I try a few rom out there and I end in issues that really bothers like no WiFi calls drops no Bluetooth etc. I really want a cool customizable rom out there that is 100% stable thanks in advance has to be 4.4.2

Need help going back to Stock from GPE Lollipop topic

I relocked my bootloader. Turned S- ON and ran the correct RUU.exe file that I downloaded straight from HTC's website and I always get stuck during the update process(technically a downgrade I suppose) The RUU.exe always comes back with error 155 UNKNOWN ERROR. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I ran ADB and checked before I ran the RUU that my PC does in fact recognize it( both while on my homescreen and FASTBOOT mode). Please I need help!
