Brick Phone - EFS delete - no S-Off topic

At first, sorry for my bad english, i´m german.

I have a HTC One Vodafone, on hboot 1.57 and CID VODAP102. currently running CM12 5.02

So, during the Root-Process the EFS-Partition was delete and so my HTC has no IMEI Nr oder Baseband Nr. and of course i have no backup.. nothing...

i wanted to restore or repair my EFS partition as mentioned in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2399037

but in my phone is no /data/nvram/md/NVRAM path .. i think because i have not the stock ROM installed, right?

So i decided to flash the right Stock ROM like described here: (sorry, german site) http://www.android-hilfe.de/anleitun...-swisscom.html

BUT for doing that i need to S-OFF my phone, i really tried everything, firewater, rumrunner, revone... it seems like it is impossible for me..

Rumrunner says, my combination of Kernel and ROM is not supported.. WTF? which combination do i need??

So, my main problem is to restore the EFS.. Is there any simpler way to do that??

Hello, I've spent the last few days searching for either which libraries i need to install in order to use moonshine or rumrunner to get s-off on my one sv k2_cl or a way to do it without either of those tools. I have root and busybox but I still need to achieve s-off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys! I am an absolute noob in these things and I have no idea of what to do what so ever. I was following the method of converting from wonderhowto with the help of moonshine but did not achieve S-OFF. I tried Rumrunner and the same thing happened. I still cannot achieve S-OFF. My Hboot version is 1.57 and I really want to convert my phone to GPE with OTA updates and stuff like that. If anyone can help me with the whole process in details. I will take it slowly and finish this conversion as soon as possible.

I saw somewhere that I need to flash some other rom first and then I have to then run rumrunner but the thing is I dont even know how to flash rom and stuff like that.. So if anyone can help me achieve my target.. I will be thankful.. and if there is a post like this before, please link as I have already searched as much before posting this up.

I am currently using ViperRom 7.02 with ElementalX kernel.
I am S-on. hboot 1.56
Currently i was trying to S-off with this combination using rumrunner method , but it goes to pouring 8 times and in the end it tells me to wait 30 seconds before turning the device back on (even though it never shuts down) and running rumrunner again. I have done this several times to no avail.
I tried firewater method too but it didn't work.
I followed these commands -
adb reboot
adb wait-for-device push firewater /data/local/tmp
adb shell
su
chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/firewater
/data/local/tmp/firewater

Nothing happens after last step.

1 .So the question is do i need to go back to nearly stock Rom like ARHD to even try this S-off method. I see v84 of the Rom which is 4.4.3 sense with Sense 6 or do i need to go to older Rom?

2 . Or can S-off method can work after flashing CM or it is necessary to flash Sense ROM only?

3. I was very much interested in running Sense 6 on top of lollipop but read Lollipop not booting because we need to update firmware to latest to run it otherwise it won't boot. Can anyone confirm this ?

[Q] S-Off Stuck On Bootloader, Won't Enter Recovery topic

Hey Guys,

I flashed the newest CM12 nightly (27th), but it wasn't really stable, it ran like crap. After only being able to install a few themes, on unlock one time I wasn't able to enter my password, it kept saying it was wrong.

So I decided to enter twrp, wipe dalvik/cache, then flash the last (24th) nightly that I was on previously.

Now, on boot, the phone get's stuck on the cyanogenmod bootlogo.

I can't enter recovery. When I select it in hboot, the phone just trys to turn on, it never actually enters recovery.

How would I go about fixing this?

It has TWRP as recovery

I want to install a new port from Mustaavalkoista, but before that I want to make my phone s-off.
But I am struggling doing that, so wanted to ask for some ideas how I can best proceed. I do not want my phone bricked.

Hey everyone. I am in need to S-OFF my device in order to update my bootloader so the 5.0 ROMs will work.

Is there a few reason to do this? I know firewater no longer works, but sunshine costs .

So I am in the last month of my Htc free screen replacement. I have read many of the posts about people dealing with HTC and the success and fail stories. I have decided it's worth the risk since my crack is pretty bad. I'm S-Off, Bootloader unlocked and was wondering if I flashed a modified h-boot to show the device as S-On and bootloader locked and restored the stock Recovery, Rom, and Kernel would they be able to tell that the device was modified? If they are able to tell and deny my replacement I'll just keep the phone and have it replaced at a shop but it would be nice if it was free. Also if they update the phone will I lose my S-On and Bootloader unlock? Thanks

I have a htc rezound with bad OS, I decided to flash a new rom.

First unlock bootloader from htc dev, then get root with iroot, then installed rom manager to install cwm recovery, then flash tow different rom and is the same, the phone just show htc.

So I think it is because I have s-on still, but I don't find a way to do it if I cannot enter to the OS

I have tried downloading all kinds of firmware files, renaming them to 0P6BIMG.zip and then running them through hboot. Everytime, they say that it is the wrong zip file.

I want to upgrade to one of the many lollipop roms, but when I do, I don't have wifi. I assume this is because I don't have the right firmware. So, how do I get the correct firmware flashed onto my phone with what I currently have?
