[Q] Lollipop gets slow with FB app and FB Messenger app topic

Hi:)

After a few hours, Facebook app and FB messenger app gets extremely slow (G3 Lollipop, newest). Restarting the phone fixes the problem, but after a few hours, the same happens (gets slower and slower). But if it can start it, it runs perfectly (exept the messenger, its useless...).
Other problem: closing the Quick Circle phone case, the clock doesn't shows up, or just very slowly.

I ran Avast and Kasp. antiviruses, nothing:S

Any ideas?

This is not my app! Since it is so great, I think I should spread some words about it. It's simply a XMPP where you put in your FB account and password and ready to go. The interface is very instant-message like.

I want to select all the texts I have and be able to mass delete them. I have lots so selecting each one is a no go. Any help? Thanks

Need testers. Issue with FB Messenger on Lollipop 4.16 topic

Hey guys,

On HTC Lollipop builds there is a strange bug with Facebook Messenger which freezes the application when sending messages. I think I may have found a workaround to the Messenger freezing issue thanks to a comment on Reddit, but first I need some testers to see if I can get consistent results from my tests before I report the bug to Facebook, so I need your help! :)

Requirements:
-Facebook Messenger application installed on your device
-HTC One (M8) on one of the following software versions:

• 4.16.1540.8


• 4.16.401.9


• 4.16.401.10


• Any other HTC Lollipop software

I will need you to perform 3 tests:
Test 1

Quote:

1. Put your phone in silent mode (no vibrate) 2. Open FB Messenger application 3. Choose a contact 4. Quickly send them 5 messages one after another

Test 2

1. Put your phone in vibrate mode 2. Open FB Messenger application 3. Choose a contact 4. Quickly send them 5 messages one after another

Is anyone else having Facebook messenger issues with Android L? When I first installed L it was fine but now when I send a message it lags for 2-3 seconds and then sends the message.
