How reliable are Nandroid backups? Anyone ever experience bugs after restoring? topic

I was wondering how everyones experience with nandroid backups are and how reliable it is. Do any of you experience any bugs after restoring? Do any of you ever have any problems going back from a touchwiz and CM rom often? (Of course I do a full wipe before restoring) I seen a few users always mention they get bugs after restoring from a backup, I was just wondering if this is just a a few people.

I have 2-3 backups I want to go back and forth from, and there are days believe it or not when I miss touchwiz lol. So going back from touchwiz and cm roms won't give me any sort of bugs or anything? I am just questioning the reliability of nandroid backups

Bugs in CM12 on D850 (ATT) topic

I have a couple minor annoyances and I'm wondering if they are common or unique to me and if there are any suggested fixes. I performed a full wipe before I installed CM12 and then again when I went to the official nightlies a couple weeks ago.

These issues occur about once a day.
1) The screen stops responding to touch, the buttons still work, headset controls still work but I have to take the battery out and put it back in to use the touchscreen again.
2) I get an error that the micro sd card has been removed, a restart gets the system to recognize it again.

M8 Google Play Edition Bugs topic

I've been having several bugs on my converted M8 Google Play Edition:

• When I answer calls I am sometimes not able to hear the other person and this does not go away until I restart the phone.


• I also occasionally get a "Camera error: can't connect camera," error and the camera is unusable until I restart the phone.


• I am not sure if this coincides with the call issue, but, alarms will sometimes be silent and that also is a problem until the phone is restarted.


• Finally, sometimes the YouTube app just crashes on launch, constantly--although I'm not sure if this is a YouTube problem or a GPE problem.

All of these problems seem to be fixed with a restart so I'm thankful that they're not permanent but it still is an annoying pain.

Is anyone else having these types of issues with a GPE M8?
