[Q] Independent Email Application topic

Does anyone know if there is one available or in development? It's like the only thing left to make the Gear S fully stand alone (other than app installs) No self contained email client is pretty lame.

Good Day Gents,

Got a unique problem that requires a solution.
Handset - Galaxy S5
Running Kit Kat 4.4.2
Email running on Exchange

The built-in email app, in the past allowed me to search for emails older than thirty days, however since last year November this option does not want to work. It only works for a thirty day period, if I search for an email I received 3 months ago the search function just hangs. Does anybody a have a solution to this problem or information on how to rectify it.

[Q] Email search not working topic

Whenever I search for something in the search bar of the email app, it insists that the word for which I am searching does not exist in either my device or on the server.

I've tested this numerous times with both my email accounts (Gmail and Outlook) and it won't acknowledge finding anything ever (including, for example, the subject line of the very first email in my account).

Is this a known problem, or am I just unlucky?

I had a note 2, bought few days a note 4, tried to link it to my work exchange email account, when I insert all the data and I start the procedure it starts with :
"retrieving account information..."
then it gives me a security warning:
"there are problems with security certificate for this site"
when I click on view it gives me my company informations and the dates of validity and if I click continue it tells me that it has been:
"unable to connect to serve".

How can I solve this? I need the sync the email with the phone especially for the calendar. Any help will be really appreciated. Thank you to anyone that can give me a hint.

I searched for my basic problem.. like many others else might also be looking for a solution but cannot find any.. many other threads are empty http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=517060.

I am using Samsung Note 3 32 GB and want an email client which can support multiple email accounts easily.

1. I will have to configure around 15+ email accounts. including:
3 gmail accounts
1 hotmail account
1 yahoo account
and rest all others pop/pop3 accounts from different or similar domains.

2. I will mostly be on wifi atleast 18+ hours a day (from home and office)

3. Will only require to access emails from few accounts in urgency when needed on mobile data connection

4. If there is somekind of good spam control available it will be great.

5. If emails are not downloaded locally on mobile, that shall be better as well, as I receive more then 200+ emails everyday and dont want the device to slow down because of same.

6. Checked various options on internet, each has pros and cons and makes me very confuse

7. I dont want an application which will display advertisements..

Please guide me to right solution.. I am willing to buy a commecial solution once I am satisfied with a trial account if available.

[Q] No Email notifications on L04 EMUI 3.0 topic

Hey Guys!

A week ago I updated my Honor H60-L04 to EMUI 3.
Now I am facing the problem that I no longer receive notifications for incoming mails.
To get this straight:
I am not talking about Push. This is working fine (the counter on the app symbol is triggered).
I am talking about the notifications appearing in the status bar.
They're missing and the phone is not ringing either.

Info: using stock email app with an windows live account.

Has anyone experienced similar issues or even has a solution?
