x86 android iso dont work or no boot? topic

im running the asus t100ta transformer.
i have tried 5-6 iso most of them doesnt even goes to grub screen. and the only 1 that does launches android but seems frozen at the welcome screen plus mouse not smooth the whole time and sluggish performance.

here are the ones i tried so far
this one loads grub but stuck at welcome screen

android-x86 -4.4-r2 (388MB)

these iso grub dont load im back at the UEFI screen as soon as i try to boot from the usb option

android_x86- 5.0.2gaaps (368mb)
android-x86 4.0-r1.1-asus_laptop(178mb)

android-x86-4.4-r1 (343mb)

i was using Rufus usb program and i noticed only the android-x86 -4.4-r2 (388MB) was able to start with the option "MBR partition scheme for UEFI computer"
all the others are not UEFI bootable or i had to pick for BIOS computer setting.

anyone has any idea what is going on? i have seen people running android on identical computers without any problems....thanks for help

hello. please, in lollipop (every rom i tried even stock), when i reboot phone the sview doesn't recognize and i have to unmount cover for retorn to work. if instead i shut down phone and start again, the sview works well.... is like the memory in reboot doesn't keep..... can anyone help me? the sview cover is with chip and i don't know if is genuine. thanks

I've only just got my i9100 (as a spare/fun device) as normally have my own N7000 as main phone...

I know you're gonna tell me to move on, upgrade, and use KitKat or Lollipop as an OS. But I'm trying to install CM7 on the i9100 for fun!!! ;)

However, I've grabbed latest on the CM7 from their website. But it won't boot, I've read about bootloops fault, but not managed to find a solution yet. One fix was to install a file called cm_i9100_full_116.zip or summit, but can't find that file or get CM7 to boot...

Any ideas...? Work a rounds..? Certain Kernels...?

It's like it don't have boot or recovery, as when in loop... You have to connect to Odin to fix it....

New display assembly won't work topic

HI guys,

I want to post on behalf of a friend who has a problem with his Xperia Z1. He originally bought it used with a broken display, he then changed it with success, the phone was working fine until it fell. At this point the display was still working but not the touchscreen, so he ordered a new assembly from the net (not genuine, like the first one which worked tho).

Upon receiving his new assembly, he immediately started the repair. However, when he turned on the phone, he only felt the vibration and nothing appeared on screen. No any light, he got a totally black display with no sign of life, while the phone was fully charged, and was recognized by Windows (he could even access his files on the memory).

He obviously thought that the seller tricked him and that the assembly was defective but when he tried with the old one (which had the display working but not the touchscreen), the same result showed up, no light, like the assembly wasn't plugged to the motherboard at all.
So far that's what I told him, check the connections to the motherboard, and make sure the flex ribbon is not damaged. He even bought a new ribbon and installed it, with no success.

He read that the problem can come from the display ribbon touching the chassis, thus making a short-circuit, but I doubt it. How if the display connector on the motherboard is broken? Is it fixable? Like buying a brand new connector and soldering it.

the problem with my phone is I flashed OA-855minu5-1.8 rom with my d850 g3, then i want to back to stock by using lgflashtool( with tot file)
things goes wrong from here. 1st i see the flashing process failed , it told my phone is d855. then i used d855 tot file to flash (my fault ) it goes to about 80% tell me it will reboot my phone. but my phone stuck at the booting img(the text shows on screen "lg life's good, power by android")
after that i can not get into download mode but fastboot mode started. i tried to flash laf img(d850) doesnt work. but i tried with d855, it works

command that i used : fastboot boot laf.img

it still doesnt work with lg flash tool(two different tools) with both kdz and tot

does anyone know why i cannot get sidesync or screen sharing working on my 2 devices?

i have a notepro 12.2 wifi with the latest 4.4.2 version and a samsung s3 with the latest 4.1.2 build available (dont like 4.3)

notepro comes with sidesync 3.0 installed buy s3 cannot get that version as it is for kitkat and above only. i tried syncing it does not recgonise or find anything when i press start. i downloaded the latest sidesync and phone screen sharing from samsung apps on my s3 so i assume version 2 then sent it to my tablet so both devices have same version of sidesync. i connected both devices by wifi direct yet they do not show up on each others sidesync list. any one know why???

i switched off any vpns etc i just cant understand why neither are showing up on each others list they are both on same wifi network same sidesync version yet nothing

So basically I signed-up using my gmail account, and when I visit myxperia website, Xperia Z3 shows up as added device, but I can't locate it or get it to play sound alert.

Hello there, I flashed the KatKernel for Android 5.0, moved the Linux folders into the /data/media/linux folder. The dual boot works great, it boots into XUbuntu, I managed to get the Wifi and the sound work allthough the sound volume is a little low. I also noticed that I have lag when playing hd videos but this isnt't the point. The problem is the Android. It boots into Android but it became unusable as I constantly get errors like Launcher3 stopped working or googleplayservices stopped working. I have CM 12 and XUbuntu. How can I get the Android to work again and still be able to boot into Ubuntu?

Cannot get netflix to work topic

When I try logging into netflix it will say netflix cannot be started and give me a -116 error. I can clear data/cache and same thing. Uninstalling and reinstalling does the same thing. I don't think it completely uninstalls the app. It just disables it since the app is originally preloaded.
