[Q] runtime option not showing up in developer options topic

Running latest lolipop 5.0 on my lg g3 and trying to switch from dalvik to art runtime however for some reason this option is not showing up on my device. Any advice on why I can't see it or how to get it to 'appear' lol would be much appreciated from a new owner.

I have been searching for answers for the following questions and have found some answers. I would appreciate any support

Device: Kindle Fire HDX 7" LTE 64GB
OS: 13.3.2.5_user_325001120

Questions
1. Is this device rootable - Yes (found answer from searching forum) by using HDX Toolkit .95
2. Can I install a ROM?
3. If I can install a ROM will i lose my LTE functionality? Which ROM supports LTE
4. Can I prevent the device from getting OS updates while still able to surf the internet on device?

I would appreciate any links to tutorials for question 2.

After enabling developer options, S3 doesn't recognise USB (PC&charger) topic

Hello to all,

Phone is Galaxy S3 running JB 4.3 stock. I ''played'' with options, more precisely I was clicking Developer options, until the end (7 times - activate it)... because of my stupid curiosity. Now, with developer options being enabled, I'm having problems with phone doesn't recognize USB, whether I want to connect it to PC, or charge via charger.

On this link it's showed how to disable developer options, but you can't do it on Samsung phone (!!!). I know I have to do factory reset, but before that I want to backup everything I need. The thing is that currently I'm having 13% of a battery available, and I need to fix this USB/charger issue to be able to further work. Now it's turned off (doesn't charge in this state too), because if I run out of battery I'm scared I won't be able to start it up again.

P.S. I tried to check/uncheck USB debugging... nothing happens.

I know this is a 100% software problem, and I hope you guys know the solution. Googled it earlier, no similar topic.

Show cpu info not in developer options? topic

I've been looking around and some roms have an option "show cpu info" that shows the temp and all cpu cores and their current frequency in real time.

Some roms have this option and some don't. Looking online i only see options for "show cpu usage" which is not what i'm looking for.

my question is does anyone know how to add this to a rom? either with xposed or another app. I am running slimkat on my note 3 n900t but i've seen other roms on older phones that have had this option and some roms without.

any info would be great!!

Cant we set a ringtone and keypad options! topic

I saw the complete settings to set my own ringtone for the calls, but i didnt find it in yureka. Also the keypad doesnt has options to change it in old custom keypad and missing smileys.

I want to use the S-Health app but it shows no options for anything on the main screen. Im running Archiport rom on my i9300. Any suggestions on how to get it working?

[Q] Shattered screen, backup options? topic

I have a moto X with a shattered screen and broken digitizer that I'm about to send in to Motorola. Is there a way to backup sms and stuff from the phone via usb fastboot or adb? debugging was not enabled when the phone took a tumble, but it turns on and i can get pictures and stuff off the device. Trying to boot back to fastboot or recovery hasnt been working for me since I can only hold the power button until it shuts off and i dont know when to hold the buttons down to get it back on :/

Reduce amount of options on sharing files/photos? topic

This might even be fixable via OTA software as far as I know, but is there a method available to reduce the amount of apps you must choose in order to share something on your device? Its just annoying when you don't even use 2/3 of the apps for sharing, most of which aren't used at all. I know I can delete the bloatware and it will reduce some.....

Attached a screenshot in case clarification is needed. Even if you are sharing a widely know method and want to toss in a smart comment, I deserve it if a fix exists and I am missing it. :cowboy: TIA
