Chinese OPO Doesn't recognize SIM topic

Hi all. I am completely stuck. I've been trying to unlock wcdma band to work on China Unicom for 2 days. Flashed alot of stuff without success. Nightly cm12, phandroid 5, cm 11s, and ALOT of different modems that were suggested.

Now, no matter which rom I flash, there is no signal at all. Wifi only works on Official CM 11s .

Please Help. :(

Edit: In the *#*#4636#*#* When I try to change to original band I cannot. Its stuck on WCDMA. Also In mobile networks, change to 2G from 3G it stucks on 3G. Can I change somewhere to unstuck this?

Xperia Z C6603 doesn't boot properly, need help topic

Hi folks, i have a Xperia Z C6603 with unlocked Bootloader. I installed the latest 4.4.4 Stock Rom (.292) via Flashtool. The only thing it shows after it boots up, is the black screen with the back button (take a look at the pic) and it reboots after a couple of seconds. I've also flashed a 4.1.2 Stock Rom (.253) it boots up normally, but there is no WiFi or cellular connection. It also shows me IMEI unknown :( I've also tried the Emma program, with the same black screen and instantly reboot :( Anyone knows what i can do ?

sview doesn't work after reboot.. why? topic

hello. please, in lollipop (every rom i tried even stock), when i reboot phone the sview doesn't recognize and i have to unmount cover for retorn to work. if instead i shut down phone and start again, the sview works well.... is like the memory in reboot doesn't keep..... can anyone help me? the sview cover is with chip and i don't know if is genuine. thanks

I am running Cyanogenmod 12 on my nexus 4, latest nightly build.
Since I have updated to CM12 I dont recieve notifications like from whatsapp or hangouts. My phone vibrates but I always have to lookup all apps to find out in which one the notification appeared ;)

Any ideas how to fix this? I havent found this issue elsewhere in the web.

the problem with my phone is I flashed OA-855minu5-1.8 rom with my d850 g3, then i want to back to stock by using lgflashtool( with tot file)
things goes wrong from here. 1st i see the flashing process failed , it told my phone is d855. then i used d855 tot file to flash (my fault ) it goes to about 80% tell me it will reboot my phone. but my phone stuck at the booting img(the text shows on screen "lg life's good, power by android")
after that i can not get into download mode but fastboot mode started. i tried to flash laf img(d850) doesnt work. but i tried with d855, it works

command that i used : fastboot boot laf.img

it still doesnt work with lg flash tool(two different tools) with both kdz and tot

GT 9500 doesnt booting topic

first thing i did that rooted my S4 9500 and install ozcan rom 6.3 .. and today when the official 5.0.1 rom came out I installed it .. then I didnt like it and decided to come back to ozcan 6.3 rom >> when I did that the network gone and writing No service .. I tried many ways to get the network back but I fail
but the last thing I did .. I restored efs.img by terminal emulator .. but I wrote mmcblk0p3 instead of the right word witch is mmcblk0p10
when I did that the phone restart and never booted . it stucks in boot logo .. and the boot sound doesnt finish .. it cut in the middle of it
What can I do to revive my phone ???? :crying:

After enabling developer options, S3 doesn't recognise USB (PC&charger) topic

Hello to all,

Phone is Galaxy S3 running JB 4.3 stock. I ''played'' with options, more precisely I was clicking Developer options, until the end (7 times - activate it)... because of my stupid curiosity. Now, with developer options being enabled, I'm having problems with phone doesn't recognize USB, whether I want to connect it to PC, or charge via charger.

On this link it's showed how to disable developer options, but you can't do it on Samsung phone (!!!). I know I have to do factory reset, but before that I want to backup everything I need. The thing is that currently I'm having 13% of a battery available, and I need to fix this USB/charger issue to be able to further work. Now it's turned off (doesn't charge in this state too), because if I run out of battery I'm scared I won't be able to start it up again.

P.S. I tried to check/uncheck USB debugging... nothing happens.

I know this is a 100% software problem, and I hope you guys know the solution. Googled it earlier, no similar topic.

myXperia doesn't work topic

Hey,
I'm trying to set up device locating, in case it gets stolen/lost.
So basically I signed-up using my gmail account, and when I visit myxperia website, Xperia Z3 shows up as added device, but I can't locate it or get it to play sound alert.

Any suggestions?

Cover doesn't look sealed topic

So I've had my Z3C for nearly a month now and I have been very happy with it except for one thing, the left port cover doesn't seem to sit flush with the body of the phone, it looks like it's not sealed correctly. Pushing it in only results in it returning to its regular position a minute later. I have however gotten the phone wet, but not submerged, but it's still completly fine. I'm just concerned that one day it will fail to seal and I'll have a water damaged Z3C on my hands.

I have two problems (for the moment :)) after upgrade to lollipop (nexus 7 2013 LTE, root).
One--memory report, is resolved.
second- Skype is not properly using Bluetooth headsets,it still grabs audio from the internal mic, rather than from the Bluetooth headset(plantronics voyager).very disturbing to speakers, which were used with great quality of noise cancelation of plantronics.
After a few search, we have millions of threadswith this problems, but old.With 4.4.3 all was perfect.
Solutions, ideas?

I have a problem with my htc one m7. It seems that background data doesn't get turned on. I have the following settings:

• mobile data: checked


• limit mobile data usage: unchecked


• alter me about data usage: unchecked


• restrict background data: unchecked

• I use the stock rom with bulletproof kernel.

The app i use most is whatsapp. But i only receive messages when i open the app. When i play a online multiplayer game (which obviously needs internet connection) i do get the messages coming in.

I've searched on google and asked on another forum but i can't find any solutions.

Does anyone have a clue?

Hey guys,
My friend installed the new lollipop ota and his phone doesn't start normally anymore.
He says that some failure reports show up and that he might report the error/failure.

He has no rooted phone or something like that. He never tried.
What can he do? Ota installing manually from original recovery or such things like that?

Idea for an Applocker (if it doesn't exist yet) topic

Hi,
I was hunting for an applocker a while ago, and I had some ideas for a couple of features.
1) When accessing the locked app, it should show an error message like "Access Denied : File checksum failed" or something with a lot of error codes to confuse a non-techie person instead of straight up asking for a password. (custom error messages if possible)

2a)Now to unlock that app, you have to go into the dialer and type your chosen unlock code. Use a special symbol to unlock only for 5 minutes, or unlock completely until manual re-locking.
2b) Ability to set a button and screen password combination. Eg/- To unlock gallery, tap the right corner of the screen twice, then press the volume up button 3 times. Something along these lines.

3)Hides itself from the Apps section in Settings, app drawer and recent apps. Only way to uninstall is from the app itself (I think this is a common feature.)

4) Essentially an inconspicuous applocker. - Asks for password but looks like an error message. I think this could be nice and slick..
I'm not knowledgeable enough to build such an app myself....
What do you guys think? If such an app already exists, please link me to it.

I've tried everything to get my z2 into recovery so I can root her... But she just refuses to.
Tried pressing buttons when she boots up and tried adb command.... Nothing works she just reboots

Any thoughts?

SGS shows CM's boot animation and doesn't start topic

Hello, my GT-I9000 didn't respond so I reset him, but he doesn't get up, just shows only boot animation. I tried to flash newest version of cyanogenmod (had from month ago), but it didn't help. Of course, I can make wipes, but don't want to lose datas on phone's memory. Is there anyway to get that files and (for example) copy to SD card?

its in a kinda semi-off state and the screen is black but still like on-black. so its still shining, also i can only reboot my phone when i attach it to a computer and run ''adb reboot bootloader''

After installing the New S Note 3.1 from Galaxy store, it didn't replace my stock S Note on Galaxy Note 8. It works as a seperate app. I mean that I have two S Note apps Why?
Is it safe to disable the stock old version?
