[Q] Exchange Sync Issues - Please Help topic

Morning all,

I just picked-up an AT&T Nexus 6. I set it up, upgraded to 5.01, did a wipe after and then configured my phone. I setup Exchange first (hosted Exchange with Rackspace) and started running into all sorts of problems with the native Gmail Exchange App. First it wouldn't sync contacts and calendars - only email. So I did some Googling and the removed the account, re-setup the Syn with just Calendars....and then adding Contacts after Calendars was done...and then added Email at the end after Contacts was done. This worked, but then email wouldn't sync with Push after the initial setup (or with Pull configured either) and would only get new emails after closing the App or rebooting the phone. Frustrated, I wiped and re-started with Nine (gorgeous interface BTW) and it was able to sync contacts, calendars and email all at once - perfect! BUT then the same issue happened - - email wouldn't sync (push or pull) until I restarted the App or the phone. Disclaimer - I have an iPhone 6 and a Note 4 and an iPad Air 2 that ALL sync perfectly fine with our hosted Exchange from Rackspace - never, ever had an issue. I have SSL set to "Accept all Certificates" as well (per the Googling) and still no good. When i try to do a manual Refresh in Nine, it just keeps "spinning" and never syncs-up with Exchange that was either (and just winds-up draining the battery because it keeps trying).

Everywhere I read about people having Exchange problems with the new Gmail app on 5.0 - - supposedly installing Nine solved the problem, but not for me, which is obviously frustrating. Can anyone please give me some hints as to what I should be looking for? I would greatly appreciate any advice and support.

So how are you all syncing your Z2 on Windows?

Today I got the Sony PC companion working with Z2.

Are you all using Media go for your music need and syncing? If other, can you share which one?

I downloads Celmentine player, I don't know if it will sync with my Z2 wireless. I also have an ipod

[Q] Chrome Sync: Password Required?? topic

Hello,

About a week ago I started getting a persistent notification on my Note 4.

I enter in my google password and it tells me it is incorrect. I even went changed my gmail password via my PC and tried to enter in the new password but it still says it is incorrect.

What password is it asking for? I am growing tired of seeing that constant notification. Thanks for any assistance.

since some days my sync on whatsapp/gmail only works if i open the app but not from alone as it did earlier.
what did i do wrong? is there any option wrong regarding the wifi or power saving?

[Q] Sync Toggle and Lollipop topic

So where did this toggle go? I've done some searching around on Google and no luck. I'm missing this toggle. Has anyone developed a way of getting it to become a toggle? The only thing I've found on the multiple ROMs I've downloaded and tried on my LG G3 was a widget that has it (see attached photo). I'd prefer to have it setup differently.

Any suggestions (root or not) to get it to reappear?

Secondly, I must be blind, but I don't see a generalized option in settings anywhere to enable/disable sync.

Android play store installed apps not staying in sync topic

I'm not sure what the right terminology is here, but each time after I install a new rom and log into the play store, it starts to download my previously installed apps. The problem is, it's like a month behind. I'm not sure how to force the android store to stay in sync with what's actually installed on my phone. (I'd like to avoid having to go find all of my apps each time I flash a new rom).

I live in the UK and want to try out the syfy sync app with my Philips hue light bulbs. Does anyone know if it works in the UK? As the updated app (5.0.1) is not available in the UK. can anyone get hold of the Syfy sync 5.0.1 apk?

[Q] Accessing network shares via Exchange/Active Sync? topic

Hey Guys,

since two months, I'm newly employed and in charge for the IT-Department. Last week i discovered, that our Boss and one Employee are able to not only get their mails on their Android-Smartphones via Active Sync but are also able to access the internal network shares of one of our servers. I saw the two exchange policy options checked, which grant the use of UNC-Paths and Windows Sharepoint services. But our two new employees, who use the same policy with Active sync, aren't able to do as the other two do. (e.g. open a link to a file in an e-mail like "\localserver\share$\whatsoever.doc").
I tried to get info from Samsung, HTC and Google on this matter, but the only hint i got was "Please reset your device and try again". As i did so already with a test device, i know this is no option.

Is there someone out there who ycould give me the right direction to search or knows the answer? I'm totally clueless on how to grant access to the other two employees.

Google Drive tries to sync deleted file - endless loop topic

I've got a strange Problem at the moment. I've deleted a file on Google Drive which was pinned as offline on my mobile. Then i've deleted it via file manager on my mobile.
No everytime I start Google Drive there is an endless sync for that deleted file. Even deleting data, cache etc didn't help.

Any ideas? Thx a lot in advance!
