stuck in boot splash screen after installing cm12 topic

Here's all the details i have in a nice list:

• I did a factory reset and then installed cm12 and gapps


• I now realize that I left xposed installer installed


• rebooting to recovery via power+volup&voldown sticks at bootloader unlocked warning


• rebooting to recovery via fastboot command re-opens fastboot with reason: 'Sticky bit fastboot'


• turning off and plugging in yields cm animated charging battery
