[Q] Frequency Bands - Padfone S or Unlocked Padfone X? topic

I can't locate any information about the supported frequency bands of the Asus Padfone X, but I did find the Asus Padfone S.

TL;DR - Does anyone know the supported frequencies for Asus Padfone X?
...
Asus Padfone S:

Quote:

3G WCDMA:
900/1900/2100

4G FDD-LTE:
700/800/900/1800/1900/2100/2600*

This list seems a bit incomplete - no 2G standard?

Since I am a T-Mobile customer, I need a phone that supports these:

Quote:

2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE:
850/1900

3G WCDMA/UMTS/HSPA+:
850 (CLR), 1900 (PCS), 1700/2100 (AWS)

4G FDD LTE:
700 (Block A), 1900 (PCS), 1700/2100 (AWS)

Since Asus Padfone S does not support 1700, if I purchase Padfone S then I will have to downgrade from AWS to PCS. The problem this has is that there are no PCS LTE towers in my area since it's a metro area that fully supports AWS. I am in a refarmed area that has HSPA+ on the 1900 band now, so I could at least get that, but if the Asus Padfone X supports 1700 then I'd rather buy one of those and unlock it.

Does this version of note 4 work on all tmob bands? topic

Recently did a trade my nexus 6 for Verizon note 4 to use on metro pcs (uses t mobile service) and since the trade I'm noticing a lot of dead zones for data connection compared to my nexus 6.

Wondering if the Verizon note 4 doesn't have all the bands or are they disabled for t mobile use?

Also I keep getting the error in the attached picture when I check for android updates?

Thanks for any help provided..

[Q] Which one to get? Which version uses what bands? topic

My S3 mini broke. Now I thought to get an S4 mini, but I can't figure out which one would be the right one.
I am using a plan in the US, ultra mobile, which is on the T-mobile network I think. I also often use my cellphone
abroad with other sim cards. I've seen that there is a 16GB version available - SCH-I435 from Verizon.
I can't figure out what bands this phone uses.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S4_Mini has no info on the bands.
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cel...35ZKAVZW-specs says:
LTE: Bands 4/13 CDMA 1x/EVDO Rev A. 850/1900 MHz.

Are there any other 16GB versions? What about root/rom? Any significant differences? Which would you recommend?
