XT1033 SMS Bug in CM12 topic

Well. I'm pretty sure this is in the wrong forum. If it is, I hope the moderators move it to the right forum. :)

Anyway, getting to the issue.

When I flashed any of the latest Lollipop builds of, be it CyanogenMod, CrDroid, Paranoid Android or others, I am not able to send or receive messages via SMS.
I'm not the only user facing this issue, a friend of mine as well is. We both own the Dual Sim variant of the Moto G (XT1033).
Whereas when I flash an old buid (like the ones from December last year), SMS is working fine.
Are we the only people facing this issue?
If you too are facing such issues, kindly comment and if you know any method to overcome this, you're welcome to share your ideas.

Exclamation mark on WiFi - Android L Moto G XT1033 topic

Hello guys! I am facing very strange issue on my Moto G 1st gen Dual Sim with Lollipop update. I am non rooted, with stock ROM. I have exclamation mark on the WiFi icon in the status bar, although I have internet connection. I have contacted Motorola Support for help, but they've said that I need to factory reset the phone.
I did so, issue was gone until I rebooted the device. I got a message on boot "Android is upgrading - Finishing boot" and then exclamation mark was there again. I have tried connecting not only to my home WiFi network, but to others, so the problem doesn't come from me. Then I did factory reset again, issue was gone and I didn't restart the device this time, but after a while I had to reboot and I got same message at boot, but after booting up exclamation mark was gone and i thought I somehow fixed it, but this morning I woke up and it's here again.

I can provide a logcat if needed.

[Q] XT1033 OTA lollipop upgrade failed... How to fix it? topic

Hi Guys,

I just received the XT1033 Lollipop notification and clicked upgrade.... Unfortunately the upgrade failed and I suspect perhaps that's because I have clockworkmod installed instead of the stock recovery?

Where do I go from here? How do I get my phone so the upgrade installs successfully?

I'm in New Zealand if that matters. Not sure if you get a different OTA update per country?

Moto G XT1033 (India) problems updating to Lollipop topic

Hello everyone, I have a Moto G (2013) aka first generation Moto G & I live in India. I had unlocked my bootloader. I even flashed cwm touch via fastboot but it doesn't go to recovery mode at all. I get a black screen. I tried flashing the official TWRP 2.8.4.0 today, but I get a message that reads, "Partition size mismatch" & I'm stuck. The phone is usable & it boots up normally & I use it daily. But it is the recovery that is messed up. I tried updating to lollipop by ota but the device got stuck on a black screen once the ota was downloaded. I tried downloading the KitKat factory image, but the link is dead. Please, somebody help!! I have unlocked bootloader and fix warning message on my Moto G Dual SIM [XT-1033] with Kitkat 4.4.4. Several days ago upgrade to Lollipop 5.0.2 by OTA and success. After upgrading to Lollipop warning message apear again so I try to relock again...but doesn't work. So I'm tray to fix warning message...and that's doesn't working to.
