Problems SIM unlocking my S4 topic

Trying to unlock my phone, currently stock running 4.4.4 Ifound this website that has steps towards unlocking the phone. There is also a few youtube videos. However, when I try it, I get stuck on options 7. After Ii nput 1, it stays in the Servicemode screen. I can not see the screen where I can select {1}UMTS. Any ideas why? Everyone who unlocked it was running 4.4.2, does that have something to do with it?

SD card problems topic

I'm having problems with my HTC one. Its running santods lollipop stock v1.02 rom, currently I'm not able to move files into the internal SD card, and not able to delete files via root browser. Any thoughts to fix the problem?

[Q] A few problems with my Moto G topic

I have a Moto G XT1034 with system version172.44.4.falcon_umts.awsretail.en.us
The device is giving me these problems:

1. It does not allow me to access security in settings. Each time I select it gives me the following error: Unfortunately, Settings has stopped.


2. I cannot uninstall the apps I install. Whenever I try to uninstall an app the mobile reboots itself.


3. The device hasn't updated from 4.4.2.

I have been using the device for a year now & can't find the solution to these issues. I have rooted the phone too. Can anyone help me out with this?

[Q] Problems with OPO vibration in calls topic

So to start, yes, my OPO DOES vibrate when quiet hours is off. So it's not a vibrator motor problem.

My issue is that with quiet hours on, I want to allow all calls to cause my phone to vibrate. I have unchecked 'Disable Vibrations' and 'Phone Ringer' is set to 'Ring for all callers' within quiet mode. My phone sound is set to vibrate, ring mode is set to vibrate, and vibrate when ringing are all activated.

Nonetheless, when a call comes in, the phone does not ring.

I have tried following the steps here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...0&postcount=11 as well as done a reboot subsequently. No avail.

Any kind soul with an idea? :)

[Q] Beautiful Widgets and other Widget Problems topic

Hey Roomies, hoping for an answer / solution to my problem with the Widgets I'm using on my n9005.

The issue I'm having is the Widgets I have are not updating as they should.

I'm using Beautiful Widgets amongst others with Next Launcher.

If I rotate the screen the widgets will update as they should but never in real time.

I'm using a custom ROM by the Echoe team (v20).

I've reinstalled all the apps concerned but still the same issue persists.

Any help would be greatly appreciated so I'd like to offer my thanks in advance

Problems with my OPO:
- Sometimes the sound from the speaker is charged slowly so that the other end are barely heard. Other times, though the conversation begins with a clear sound in the headset and high fidelity shortly quality decreases sharply, so that the listener becomes even harder to understand in what he says; sound in speaker sounds like the other one ... as a boiler.
- Lately, increasingly more often, to initiate a sound applications (games, sound email or call sound) sound blocks, generating a disturbing sound, sharp or rattles like not disappear until I restart the device .

You know what solutions?

i9506 problems with SU topic

hello.
I have rooted my phone for some time with chainfire super user.
I started facing blue screen problems and random restarts now. thought maybe there is some hardware faults. started SU app and have choosed full unroot and problem have disappeared for some time.
What have happened and why?

firmware 4.4.2.
Currently i updated software through kies (nj1 update).
so far so good. no bluescreen for now.

Hey,

Wondering if somebody could help me out. I purchased a Telus HTC Desire 510. The bootloader has been unlocked, TWRP installed, SuperSU root access. I installed Titanium Backup. I uninstalled system software such as Twitter, Facebook, services etc, and have noticed that when I restart the phone, the software comes back.

Can someone explain to me why the O.S. is doing this? It's Android kitkat. I have noticed in any file manager that it defaults to and emulated folder etc //sdcard/emulated. Also thinking it might have something to do with HTC software pre-installed //dumby proof backup software? In the past on any Android device, after unlocking and rooting I've never had this problem. Starting to fumble me...

[Q] Problems with Galaxy Nexus please help :o topic

The Gnex became very slow and there were apps and processes constantly crashing.
Did a factory reset, and the phone got bricked. The screen was just black, it didn't show a sign of life, not even the google logo.
Then I tried to unbrick it with OMAP flash or something, then it booted, showed the google logo, and then the nexus logo.
Then it crashed and rebooted.
I tried reflashing the stock rom using odin.
That didn't do a thing.
Next, I installed TWRP recovery and installed Cyanogenmod and Gapps.
And its still in bootloop.
I don't know what to do now, please help me!! :o
Is it still fixable??

I have rooted using Effortless w/ Knox intact. When I try to move or copy a file (music) from my internal memory to sd card using Root Explorer it says Operation Failed. I can move it with the PC but can't transfer it using EZ File Explorer or the built in My Files. I have applied the SD Card fix but to no avail. Can anyone help?

[Q] Android L Troubleshooting Problems | NO ROOT topic

The Moment i updated my MOTO G to Android L i am facing some problems.
i don't know much about Rooting & i am a unrooted user.

#Spirit1: Real FM Radio 4 AOSP - Not opening on Android L.
Before Android L, same was running perfectly on KitKat.
Please find attached error snapshot.
Please suggest a FM Radio App that doesn't uses internet on Android L without being rooted.

Teclast X98 Air charging problems AND Workarounds (no 3G, no II) topic

Hi !
I had 2 Problems (running Win 8.1):

First: it only charged when OFF, not when windows booted.
Then: NO Charge at all after playing with a USB Hub (nothing defective, just unplugging and replugging).

I solved the NO CHARGE Problem this way:
I opened it, unsoldered the battery (easy, 3 wired, PLEASE isolate them, do NOT short the wires).
Then i sortened (bridged) the 3 solder "blobs" on the PCB with each other to drain remaining capacity from the "confused" charger chip i wanted to reset.
Then resolder battery, BAM, it works again.


My first problem remains --> only charging when OFF, but as i now have an AMpere meter conneted all the time i guess i have the solution !

My battery profile has a low brightness, my "powered" has a high brightness. So if the X98 detects the charger it starts charging (i can see around 1 Amp flowing) and turns up the brightness. BUT the bright screen drains so much power that the Voltage drops and the charging circuit senses that and thinks chargin is over and stops charging.
If you have around 75% brightness this goes on & off forever, my Ampere meter jumping between 1 Amp and 0 Amp all the time, brightness going up and down.

Solution (Well workaround): Set the "powered" brigthness to a low value and ENJOY charging.

Maybe Teclast can solve that via Firmware. If they care...

If i have a chat in snapchat open, when it makes the sound when someone comes online, the spotify msuic cuts off. It didn't used to do this, on Digitalhigh GPE. Could it be project era messing with it? I really don;t want to reflash the whole ROM. Any help would be appreciated
