[Q] WiFi Region Code for India topic

Hello, I got my OPO 2 days back and was playing around with the settings when I mistakenly changed the WiFi region code to Korea. I live in India so what would be the correct setting for me? Thank you in advance :)

WiFi Modem in my Galaxy S2 I9100 (India) died. Unable to flash with ODIN. topic

I had installed the CyanogenMod 10.3 Stable build on my Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 and it worked fine for a few months, and suddenly one fine day, the WiFi button in the Settings stopped starting the WiFi modem inside the phone, and hence the WiFi networks in the area don't even get listed. So if the button next to WiFi says OFF, I tap on it to start the WIFI and it switches to ON, the blank area below it says, "Turning Wi-Fi on", and after a few seconds, the switch goes back to OFF. That is all that happens. My cousin told me to go back to stock ROM so I got the stock ROM off of SamMobile.com. I got KIES as well as ODIN. I installed KIES and started it, and connected the phone with the USB cable in the USB port and not the hub. The phone never gets detected in KIES. Even when I go into the Download Mode (by booting with Home + Vol Down + Power), ODIN doesn't recognize the device at all. I've heard of a way to fix this by pressing *#7284# in the Dialer and getting options to set the UART radio button to MODEM, but all I get is "Invalid MMI Code".

I don't quite know what my options are now. It would be great to just go back to the stock ROM and get the WIFI to start and to detect networks in the range. Thanks !

Got OTA Official Update Today (India) topic

So Today at 3:00 PM I got the OTA update for Official Android Lollipop 5.0.2
And I Am So happy Some one else got it.. just posting the screenshots I Have taken.
And mine is not rooted No Soak Test..
It was of 408.56 MB and Took Almost 145 Minutes to reboot.
After the update Google Play Store Hanged some times but everything is okey now updation is complete i love this.

Moto G XT1033 (India) problems updating to Lollipop topic

Hello everyone, I have a Moto G (2013) aka first generation Moto G & I live in India. I had unlocked my bootloader. I even flashed cwm touch via fastboot but it doesn't go to recovery mode at all. I get a black screen. I tried flashing the official TWRP 2.8.4.0 today, but I get a message that reads, "Partition size mismatch" & I'm stuck. The phone is usable & it boots up normally & I use it daily. But it is the recovery that is messed up. I tried updating to lollipop by ota but the device got stuck on a black screen once the ota was downloaded. I tried downloading the KitKat factory image, but the link is dead. Please, somebody help!! [Q] Unable to get 2G /3G on my lg g2 320s in India on idea network topic

Dear friends

I got this korean version of lg g2 320s. I am able to use only gprs on this. I have tried setting the apns manually but not able to get 2G or 3G to work.

When i go to network settings it shows only 2 options for Network Mode. first is LTE preferred and second is 3G only. My carrier Idea says i need to select wcdma which i don't see.

I went thru some forums before posting here and tried 5457#*320# i tried changing band selection but still my device wont get 2G or 3G signal.

Please help me or point to the right location.
