Problem getting back root after updating to B321 topic

I was so glad to see the official B321 update that I quickly downloaded it and updated to it. Problem is in order to do so I had to go back to the stock recovery. Now that I've updated I can't get ROOT back. Mate toolkit and eRoot don't seem to work on 4.4.2. Anyone knows how I can get back root. I tried putting the update.app file for older 4.2.2 ROMs in the dload folder but update fails. Anyone please help.

I got an update.... I think its the lollipop update we are waiting for... But its saying that my phone contains unrecognised software that cant be updated.... I want to update to lollipop sooooo badly.... Any ideas..?? Or can't a rooted phone be updated?? Thanx in advance

[Q] Strange issue when updating past 4.1.2 topic

HI there,

My first post and its a question! i'll just begin shall i?

I am currently on 4.1.2 and all is well in terms of everything is working as intended. But when I decided to move up to another firmware such as KitKat or even Lollipop, my phone begins to give off somewhat of a radiation which I feel in my hands! Its quite uncomfortable which forces me back to 4.1.2.

I moved up to:
Firmware: Lollipop 5.0.2 by Cynogenmod Build 14
Baseband Version: i9100XXMS2
Kernel: 3.0.64-CM

Irregardless of what firmware I upgrade to, if its anything higher than 4.1.2, I have this strange issue of radiation which I can feel. Any ideas?
Modem issue? Phone issue? Me being the issue?

Updating Firmware for Lollipop ROM? topic

Hello! I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to updating firmware and I've heard that it's really easy to brick your device if you screw it up so I want to ask some questions before I dive in.
From what i've gathered, this is the right place to get the latest firmware and flashing instructions. Do I need to flash the full firmware if I'm not planning on using a stock/Sense ROM? Would it matter either way?
I'm on CM 10.2 now and was thinking about checking out the latest CM 12 nightly or maybe one of the Lollipop GPE ROMs. I don't think I'll be going to a Sense ROM.
P.S. I've had this phone since August 2013 and have never updates the firmware.

I'm running a GS4 sgh-m919 phone with an insane kit kat 4.4.2 rom. The current adreno 320 gpu driver in this build is v45. I'm looking to keep my current android rom and just update the driver to either v84 or higher. I'd like someone to explain first if this is possible, then help out with a driver link and some basic instructions. Thanks.

Hey, I bought modern combat 5 from playstore a while back and was playing it up until a couple days ago when my Galaxy S5 updated from kitkat to lollipop, after I tried playing the game but an error "unfortunately, modern combat 5 has stopped" came up, I've uninstall it and reinstall it but same problem. 1) What's the progress on Xposed for Lollipop?

2) Is Safestrap compatible with lollipop?

3) What roms are being developed/released for lollipop GS4 TW users?

4) Is it possible to keep root across this OTA?

5) What data will I lose? Should I make a full backup? (Not a nandroid since that wouldn't necessarily work without unlocked bootloader)

And while it's prepraring for upadate, a message appair :

Installation aborted.
Rebooting..."
Any solutions ?

I am currently on android version 4.2.2 19506XXUBMK7 on Samsung GT 19506

When I go in to check what is the latest firmware 4.4.2(Sammy Mobile) it has product code Ireland (Vodafone) - VDI. I am currently on a different network would that have any effect on updating ?

If not then is it just a case of using ODIN to update the firmware to 4.4.2 making sure I take a back up with ROM back up? Its been a while

I have update my phone (Galaxy S5 SM-G900F) to android lollipop 5.0 and I have noticed that the heart rate sensor lights up even if I don't use S Health.

Purchased the Moto 360 from craiglist. (bad idea) but firmware will not update to 5.01 via OTA.
Build number is Metallica-userdebug 4.4WKGW18B.M194745 test-keys
I heard that this maybe in factory debug mode which will not update.
Is there way to update it besides custom ROM. (USB cable)?

With current firmware, Facer and Watchmaker does not work. (one of th emain reason that I purchase the Moto 360)

Any insights will be helpful and appreciated.

This forum has really died down and it's hard to find specific info on the 610.
Like the forum says--how have you been updating?
There's a ruu update a dev posted in general but the more I read the more I second guess whether it's as easy as just running the exe and following prompts. Other ruu on other HTC phones require relocking boot loader and there needs to be an adb environment present (however most of those threads are several years old.). If it's as easy as just running the exe on any old pc and not locking boot loader I'd just like some confirmation.
OR just share your updating method. It's been like 5 months since I rooted and I've yet to get an update. I'm not overly stressed but I think it'd be dumb to just keep the same firmware forever.
Are you backing up, unrooting, and locking boot loader to get ota? If so are the updates incremental or does it go right to the latest? That's my concern with ruu. It's going to maybe skip 3 or more updates then possibly install one that's incompatible... or not.
Basically any info is welcomed! Please share how you update. Thanks.

Moto G XT1033 (India) problems updating to Lollipop topic

Hello everyone, I have a Moto G (2013) aka first generation Moto G & I live in India. I had unlocked my bootloader. I even flashed cwm touch via fastboot but it doesn't go to recovery mode at all. I get a black screen. I tried flashing the official TWRP 2.8.4.0 today, but I get a message that reads, "Partition size mismatch" & I'm stuck. The phone is usable & it boots up normally & I use it daily. But it is the recovery that is messed up. I tried updating to lollipop by ota but the device got stuck on a black screen once the ota was downloaded. I tried downloading the KitKat factory image, but the link is dead. Please, somebody help!!
