APP to change DPI of canvas turbo topic

hey...
are there any apps that can change DPI of a250 ...i tried a lot of them...but got into bootloop everytym...
then went to the build.prop file...
and saw that the line
ro.sf.lcd_density=
is missing....from the original build.prop file..
is this the reason for getting into bootloop...??
