Data issues with Lollipop on Moto X 2014 topic

I recently updated my Moto X 2014 to Lillipop and am running into a few snags that i didnt have with 4.4.4 Kit Kat. (Verizon)

I recently realized that while on a phone call, i can no longer look up something on the internet or send anything data related while on a phone call. I realized this when i was talking to a buddy on the phone and need to look something up for him and discovered that i couldnt use data during calls.

I was thinking about it, and when i was on 4.4.4 kit kat, i had no issues using data during a phone call, but with the update to lollipop, that feature seemed to have gone away.

Is this something verizon is doing with the coming of their VoLTE Advanced Calling update, or is there an issue with my phone? I never had this issue before with the 2013 Moto X. :confused:
