Htc Desire 300 touchscreen problem topic

My htc desire300 works fine except some parts of the touchscreen don't. When pressing 5 on dialer or triing to swipe from that areea on any app doesn't work.
Any ideas if it can be fixed or do i need to replace the entire display and touchscreen ?!
