For those of you that don't like the way lollipop ties you down to lock screen background that comes with your rom and or theme you install or you want to just have more control over your Lollipop lock screen, you may want to give this app a look into.
It's called "L lockscreen" and the standard version is free from the Playstore. But if you want to add a custom background from say, Zedge, or maybe a pick of your favorite dog or cat than you will have to purchase (less than .00 dollars U.S.) the premium upgrade for it.
It is well worth it as this app gives you almost total controle over your lock screen. Your phone does not have to be rooted.

I highly recomend this app and have tested it on; Galaxy Note 2 i605 and the Galaxy Note 8 gt-n5110, these are the only devices that I have Lollipop on them.
