Hi
I hope the QA is the correct forum for this.
I had a 32 gb nexus 7 2013 that got stolen from my home. The boss of the perpetrator is paying me, so i am going to buy one of the 2 available nvidia shield tablets.
I have never owned a tablet with LTE, but i remember that the nexus tablets with that feature had their factory images released later, for example.
Is there any reason in favor of the 16gb one with no celular radio in regards of updates, factory images, rooting?
I don't care about custom roms when the stock one has important features, but if the nvidia features are just apps, i might care about them too.
ps: i did read about this tablet, but i am buying it mostly because of it's size and prize in my country, and i like stock android. My nexus 7 2013 was stock, albeit a custom kernel cause i wanted to delve into F2FS
ps2: 16gb should be enough for my needs, considering it supports sd cards, where i can store my media, but playing it safe is always a good idea, and had my old tablet had a celular radio, i could have tracked it beyond the moment it left my home's wifi, and since it was password protected, it can never be connected to another wifi without factory reseting it.
