[Q] Can I use the Gear S like a regular Smartwatch? W/O data plan? topic

Hello,
I do like the Gear S and wanna buy the ATT version on unlocked version.
But I don't want a data plan on it, I want it connected to my phone just like a Gear 2 or Android Wear watch via Bluetooth.

Can I just do that and have the messages and phone calls forwarded to the watch?
