[Q] Note Edge With Google Now Launcher? topic

I've been obsessing over the edge and the Nexus 6 for several weeks now. I really like the edge hardware better, especially the camera (two small kids and having a good smartphone camera is a must). However, everytime I stop by T-Mobile and play with the 6 I love the look and feel of stock lollipop, from the smoothness to the animations. My long winded question is how well the recent lollipop update to the Google Now Launcher works on the note edge, and how it compares to stock. Any lag? Are any of the animations present? I know I can get a long way toward the look and feel of material design with Google specific apps, but I'm curious how the core os translates (or doesn't) with this specific launcher. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated... the employees at my local Best Buy wouldn't let me try it out in the store!
