[Q] Permanently black status bar topic

Hi guys. Im looking for a mod or rom which will allow me to permanently have a black statusbar.

I have a 1st revision device with an overpowered backlight along the top edge.

With a black status bar the light is almost invisible. So im interested in some solution to getting lollipop + black status bar in all apps.
