[Q] rooting without windows (Heimdall) topic

Linux guy here, no windows in the house, other than the glass ones.

Heimdall-gui won't play ball with the CF-Auto-Root tarball.

Has anyone put together a "howto" for heimdall command line? (I'm nervous about bricking a new device, for obvious reasons)
