Seems like this forum has very little support, but hopefully will find someone that can help. Recently purchased a soft-bricked HTC M4 and am having trouble finding the proper recovery to mount/wipe/install custom ROMs. On hboot 2.22
Have been using
- TWRP v2.6.3 recovery from jmz to successfully wipe cache/dalvik and factory reset, allows for proper mounting of cache, data, and system. However does not allow for install of SlimKAT via OTG. Receive error executing updater binary when trying to install SlimKAT. No luck getting su to install properly
- philz_touch_6.41.6-m4.img to successfully install SlimKAT but have been having issues with mounting data, results in booting but stuck at SlimKAT boot loop. Unable to properly wipe device with this recovery.
Have been unable to get UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.99r3.zip to stick for su commands with either recovery.imgs
Appreciate any suggestions, hoping to get this device up and running soon!
