[ROM][Development] CM12 - updated JAN 30 topic

Code:

#include
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 *
 * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
 * cause of male impotence.
 */

Note:
I'm a new device maintainer for the fusion3 platform on CyanogenMod. This thread will be updated whenever changes to the source code warrant me to do so. Please help by testing and reporting bugs on this - it will help on the road to getting CM12 nightlies.
THIS IS WIP, AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE CHANGELOG, AND THIS THREAD EXISTS SOLELY TO MOVE THINGS FORWARD CONSTRUCTIVELY.

Installation:
- If coming from anything but other CM12 builds, do a full wipe!
- If coming from my previous build, just flash it

Changes:
- Jan 30: Initial release
For the specific updates to fusion3 and pollux, see the source link below and the sister thread for pollux!

Not working:

If you are willing (and able) to help, check out the patch sets, test them for the respective projects (fusion3 is also pollux, odin, and so on).

Screwed up - updated AT&T to 4.4.4, can't root now topic

I know. Never accept an OTA if you want to root immediately.

Just got a used AT&T One M8. Was on 4.4.2. Did the OTA to 4.4.4 (the VOLTE update).

Went to run Sunshine to achieve S-Off, doesn't work. Tried to manually root. Can't.

Guess I'm stuck for now, huh? I was going to S-OFF and convert to GPE. Now I screwed myself for a while I guess.

Or did I miss something? FWIW, I know how to root, just can't install a custom recovery to do so. Says the zip signature isn't valid or something.

Updated to Lollipop. Mic-1 not working. topic

Hi

I'm running an international unlocked M8. just got it from the service repair center for a battery-related repair. Immediately upgraded it to OTA Lollipop. The microphone isn't working. Google Now & Phone calls just pick up static. Speaker phone works fine. Tried cleaning the grill to no avail. Tried factory reset. Nothing.

Do you think this is related to Lollipop? Can I count on an update to follow to solve this? Because I would really hate to send it back to the service center.

Thanks :fingers-crossed:
